MODOT delays I-29 lane closure for later this month


MOUND CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation is delaying a major road closure.

The U.S. Route 159 bridge over I-29 near Mound City was supposed to get a new bridge deck this week, but MODOT rescheduled that work for Feb. 26 through the 27.

During that work, all lanes of I-29 will be closed under the bridge.
